subject curricula with an explicit connection to sustainable development.
The degree programs listed here include mandatory components on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and students are required to write final theses on topics related to several SDGs.
Each of the degree programs focuses on a single subject area (humanities and behavioral sciences / human sciences; economics, law, and the social sciences; life sciences; the natural sciences and engineering).

Subject curricula, based on an academic area, for and with “sustainability pioneers”
The curricula do not include systematically integrated sustainability topics; students can nonetheless elect courses and faculty with individual specializations within the subject that, taken together, cover multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Furthermore, students can write final theses related to multiple SDGs.
